Magic Johnson is one of the most well-known NBA basketball players of  all-time. He was drafted 1st overall by the Los Angeles Lakers in 1979,  and led them to 5 NBA Championship wins. The 12-time All-Star is also a  3-time NBA MVP, twice led the league in steals, and 4-times led the  league in assists. His jersey #32 has been retired by the Lakers, and he  was enshrined into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2002.
