Whitey Lockman (b. 1926 - d. 2009) was a first baseman and outfielder, primarily for the New York/San Francisco Giants. During his 15-year career, Lockman was an All-Star in 1952 and won the 1954 World Series with the Giants. He played in 1,666 games and had a .279 overall batting average with 114 home runs.
