Tris Speaker is considered to be one of the greatest players in baseball history. He was the star centerfielder for the Boston Red Sox from 1907 to 1915, and a player/manager for the Cleveland Indians from 1916 to 1926. He holds career records by an outfielder for double plays, assists, and unassisted double plays. He also holds an MLB record with 792 career doubles, and is fifth in the all-time hits list with 3,514 career hits.
