Tommie Agee (b. 1942-d. 2001) was a star center fielder for the Chicago White Sox and New York Mets. The 1966 AL Rookie of Year Award winner won his first Gold Glove Award and was selected to his first All-Star Game his rookie season. Agee, a 2-time All-Star and 2-time Gold Glove Award winner, was a key member of the 1969 Mets World Series team, making two of the greatest catches in World Series history during Game 3.
