This Rawlings official 1988 World Series baseball has been hand signed by Kirk Gibson and Tommy Lasorda. Each autograph includes an individually numbered TRISTAR Authentic hologram.

During Tommy Lasorda’s 20-year career as the Los Angeles Dodgers Manager, the team won 8 division titles, 4 NL pennants and 2 World Series championships in 1981 and 1988. Lasorda was named the NL Manager of the Year in 1983 and 1988 and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1997. Tom passed away on January 8, 2021.

Kirk Gibson, played for numerous teams during his career, but was a star outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 1988 to 1990. In 1988, Gibson was named the NL MVP, and helped lead the Dodgers to a victory in the World Series. During Game 1, he hit a walk-off home run against Dennis Eckersley to give the Dodgers the 1988 Series Game 1 victory. It is still known as one of the most exciting moments in World Series history.
