Sam Jethroe Autographed NL Baseball Inscribed NL ROY Boston Braves 1950

This Jackie Robinson 50th Anniversary Rawlings official National League baseball was hand signed and inscribed "NL ROY Boston Braves 1950 1 ball added 4-15-1950" by former major league centerfielder Sam Jethroe (b. 1917 - d. 2001). Jethroe played for the Boston Braves and Pittsburgh Pirates in the majors and the Indianapolis ABCs and Cleveland Buckeyes in the Negro Leagues. Jethroe was a 2-time NL stolen base leader and won the NL Rookie of the Year in 1950. The autograph is guaranteed authentic, and includes authentication from PSA/DNA.
