Preston Rudolph "Rudy" York (dec. 1970) played for the Detroit Tigers from 1934 and 1937–45, Red Sox (1946–47), White Sox (1947) and Athletics (1948), primarily as a power hitting first baseman. The 7-time All-Star, who led the AL in Homeruns and RBI's in 1943, helped lead the Tigers to the 1945 World Championship. York passed away of cancer at only 56, giving collectors of single-signed baseballs an incredible task. Offered here is a very rare single-signed vintage Reach official American League (Harridge) baseball, which appears to be game-used, hand signed by Rudy York. The signature is guaranteed authentic and includes a PSA/DNA Letter of Authenticity. The ball has been dated and noted when/where the ball was obtained on the side panel by an unknown hand. Tiger fans, your prize has arrived!
Note: This item does not include an individually numbered TRISTAR Authentication hologram, only the PSA/DNA authentication.
