Ozzie Smith, nicknamed “The Wizard”, spent the majority of his career with the St. Louis Cardinals. He was famous for doing a backflip before Opening Days, All-Star Games and postseason games. The 15-time All Star was a key member of the Cardinals' 1982 World Series championship team. His great play at shortstop won him the NL Gold Glove Award for 13 consecutive seasons, a feat which has yet to be matched. He retired in 1996, finishing his career with 580 stolen bases and 793 RBI. Smith was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2002.
