This Official Major League Baseball was hand signed by legendary major league outfielder Matty Alou (b. 1938 - d. 2011). Alou, who played 15 seasons, played for seven MLB teams, including the San Francisco Giants and Pittsburgh Pirates. Alou was a 2-time All-Star, 1966 NL Batting Champion and 1972 World Series Champion.
