Napoleon “Nap” Lajoie, also known as Larry Lajoie, was a second baseman who played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Athletics, and Cleveland Bronchos/Naps through his 21 season Major League career. Larry also served as a player-manager with the Naps from 1905 to 1909. Lajoie was a 5-time AL batting champion, 3-time RBI leader, as won the Triple Crown in 1901. He was enshrined into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937. This index card has been hand signed and inscribed “April 29 1945” by Larry Lajoie. The autograph has been authenticated, slabbed and graded a 10 by Beckett.
