Larry Doby (b. 1923 - d. 2003) was a legendary baseball player who played in the Negro leagues and in Major League Baseball, primarily with the Cleveland Indians. Doby was a 7-time All-Star and 1948 World Series champion, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1998.
