Johnny Evers Autographed Index Card

Johnny Evers was a star second baseman and manager for the Chicago Cubs. He was known for his fiery disposition and his role in the famous double-play combination with Joe Tinker and Frank Chance, immortalized as “Tinker-to-Evers-to-Chance” in the poem “Baseball’s Sad Lexicon.” He helped lead the Cubs to four National League pennants and two World Series championship titles. Evers was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1946. This index card was hand signed by Johnny Evers, and has been authenticated and slabbed by Beckett.
