Jackie Jensen was a golden boy, a two-sport star in college, and the first man to play in the Rose Bowl, the World Series, and the baseball All-Star Game. Starring first for the Yankees and then for their rival Red Sox, Jensen could run hit for average and power and field. The 1958 AL MVP was a 3-time All-Star, 3-time RBI leader, and a Stolen Base leader. He retired young in 1961, due to a fear of flying. A member of the Red Sox Hall of Fame, he died of a heart attack at just 55 in 1982. Collectors looking for a single-signed baseball search far and wide.
