Howie Bedell played a total of 67 games for the Milwaukee Braves and Philadelphia Phillies in the majors and nearly 1,400 games in the minors. In 1968, Bedell hit a sacrifice fly to score the run that broke Don Drysdale's 58 2/3 scoreless innings. After his player career, he was a coach for the Kansas City Royals and Seattle Mariners. This Rawlings official National League baseball has been hand signed and inscribed "2/13/99" and "I hit the ball that scored the run to break Don Drysdale's 58 2/3 consecutive scoreless innings June 9, 1968". The autograph includes authentication from PSA/DNA (TRISTAR authentication not included).
