Johannes Peter "Honus" Wagner (dec. 1955) played 21 seasons in the Majors from 1897 to 1917, and 17 of those seasons were spent with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was a 5-time NL RBI leader and 5-time NL stolen base leader, as well as an 8-time NL batting champion, a National League record still held to this day. Wagner was enshrined into the Hall of Fame in 1936, as one of the first five members to be inducted. He received the 2nd highest vote total, behind Ty Cobb and tied with Babe Ruth. Cobb called Wagner "the greatest star ever to take the diamond". All serious, and many not as serious, collectors want to add Wagner to their single-signed baseball collections. Offered here is vintage Spalding official National League (Frick) baseball hand signed and inscribed “To Jeff” by Honus Wagner. The signature is guaranteed authentic, and includes a PSA/DNA Letter of Authenticity, as well as a Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication.
Note: This item does not include an individually numbered TRISTAR Authentication hologram, only the PSA/DNA authentication.
