Gerry Staley was a star pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Redlegs, New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox. The 4-time All-Star helped the White Sox to the 1959 AL pennant as a reliever. He finished his 15-year career with a 134-11 record in 640 games. In the 186 games he started, he threw 58 complete games with 9 shutouts. In 246 games finished, he collected 61 saves.
