President Bush and his wife Barbara were good friends with fellow Houstonian Doug Sanders and his wife. Doug was a professional golfer who had 20 wins on the PGA Tour. Sanders passed away in 2020 at the age of 86. This typed note card addressed to Doug Sanders was hand signed and inscribed "Moving back to Houston Jan 20th" by George H. W. Bush on November 6, 1992, just a few days following his election loss to Bill Clinton. The signature includes a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
