Gary Carter was a star catcher from 1974 to 1992, primarily playing with the Montreal Expos and New York Mets. The 11-time All-Star won three Gold Glove Awards, five Silver Slugger Awards, was the MVP of two All-Star games, and was the NL RBI champion in 1984. He finished his career with 324 home runs and 1,225 runs batted in. Carter was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003. He passed away in 2012 at the age of 57.
