Ewell Blackwell (b. 1922 - d. 1996) pitched for the Cincinnati Reds, New York Yankees and Kansas City Athletics. Throughout his 10-year career, Blackwell was a 6-time All-Star and led the NL in wins and strikeouts in 1947. Blackwell was inducted into the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame in 1960.
