The 6x Pro Bowl Selection is a 4x NFL Rushing Champion, seventh-leading rusher of all time, and a member of the NFL 1980's All-Decade Team. After 30 years, Dickerson still holds the NFL's single-season rushing record with 2,105 yards. In 1999 Dickerson was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
