Don Drysdale was a star pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 1956 to 1969. He is considered one of the more dominant pitchers of his era. Drysdale would use brushback pitches and a sidearm fastball to intimidate batters. In 1962, he won 25 games and the Cy Young Award, and in 1968, he set Major League records with six consecutive shutouts. He was a 9-time All-Star and a 3-time World Series Champion.
