Dave Pope Autographed Wilson Major League Baseball

Dave Pope, younger brother of star Negro League player Willie Pope, served in the US Army from 1943 to 1946. Upon his return, he played one inning for the Homestead Grays in the Negro Leagues. In 1950 he was signed by the Cleveland Indians, and debuted in 1952. He played all three positions in the outfield, and recorded a .990 fielding percentage with only 3 errors in his 315 total chances in 1142.2 innings during his career.
