Darryl Dawkins (b. 1957 - d. 2015), nicknamed "Chocolate Thunder", was a basketball player primarily for the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Nets. He was selected in the first round, 5th overall in the 1975 NBA Draft by the 76ers. Dawkins became a 1989 NBA Champion during his short time with the Detroit Pistons.
