Clarence Ace Parker Autographed Baseball Inscribed A's 1937-38 FB HOF 1972

Ace Parker was a star multi-sport athlete at Duke University, where he played football, baseball and basketball. He began his professional career playing shortstop in the Major Leagues for the Philadelphia Athletics from 1937 to 1938. While playing wit the A's, he was drafted by the Brooklyn Dodgers to play in the NFL as a quarterback, tailback and safety. During that time, he led the league in passing yards in 1938, and in 1940 he was co-leader in interceptions made and was named the NFL MVP. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1955 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1972.
