Bob Miller Autographed Official Major League Baseball Inscribed 1962 Mets

Bob Miller, a former Major League relief pitcher, was signed as a "baby bonus" free agent by the Detroit Tigers in 1953. Because of the rule of the Bonus Draft, the Tigers had to immediately add Miller to their 40-man roster, and he made his debut at the age of 17. In 1959, he was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds from the Detroit Tigers in the minor league draft. In 1962, he was traded to the original '62 Mets for Don Zimmer, and was one of two pitchers on the pitching staff with the name Bob Miller, the other was Bob L. Miller.
