Al Lopez (b. 1908 - d. 2005) was a legendary catcher and manager. Lopez played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Boston Bees, Pittsburgh Pirates and Cleveland Indians, and he managed the Indians and Chicago White Sox. Lopez was a 2-time All-Star and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1977. This American League baseball was hand signed and inscribed "HOF 77" by Al Lopez.
