"Sugar" Ray Leonard was the 1980s "Boxer of the Decade". After winning a gold medal in the 1976 Olympics, he become a professional boxer. Leonard finished his career with 36 wins, 26 of which were knockouts, and he was defeated by knockout only once in his 3 losses. He was the first boxer to earn over $100,000,000 in purses. Leonard was voted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1997. Roberto Durán is considered by many as one of the greatest boxers of all time.
